Fredericks Fashion Show
Fredericks of Hollywood hosted their intimate lingerie fashion show at the Hollywood Athletic Club in 2000. The elaborate event included live music, with a drummer suspended directly above the catwalk. Frederick’s was started back in 1947 by the inventor of the Push-up bra Frederick Mellinger. His first store on Hollywood Boulevard was a local landmark of the area and became an instant hit with the glamorous actresses of the time.
